This coming Sunday April 26, 2009 from 6:30-8:30pm at Edenton Baptist Church. We will provide a van ride if wanted, but I think most people live closer to EBC then ABC and hence can just meet us there.

Stuff-N-Things
Wow, long time no post.
Anyways...
I think all who went to ATF had an excelent time, and grew closer to God. Now we need to pay for the trip, so lets get those fund raising ideas in, I know we'll be doing a "sucker" sale, but we'll need more then that. Once it warms up what about doing a "rent a youth" to do yard work/odd jobs for people in the church? Any other ideas?

Saturday - March 21 7:00 pm "BLACK LIGHT WORSHIP SERVICE" @ Rocky Hock Baptist Church. I called them and it sounds cool. We'll be taking a van full if you want to come. Or just meet us there. It's for all ages!! (meet at ABC @ 6:20 if you want a ride)
Tuesday - March 31 "Youth Cancelled", we'll be in Washington State.

Saturday Night Alive
This saturday at the Marina (Saturday at 6:00 at the Edenton Marina 621 West Queen St beside Griggs Lumber). is "Saturday Night Alive". It is definitely different from your idea of a traditional church service. There is lots of music (not traditional music like hymns), a short message, and refreshments afterwards. If you have any questions call us at 482-8135 or email ashleenh@yahoo.com or egilbert@mii.com Please send this on to other people in youth or people you want to invite.
As many of you know, this is a chance for you to get some points for youth group as well. The points are really close right now between some of you and this is a great opportunity to pull ahead.

Election Day - Youth Cancelled
Hi everyone,
We did not realize youth fell on Election Day. I want all the "Youthers" to stay home and watch history being made. While watching please pray for our nation and our future leaders that they'll follow the bible and Jesus. Like the Lord's prayer says "your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:9-13)
Please pass this info around to as many CrossRoaders as possible.
Next Tuesday is Veterans Day, we'll be meeting that day, especially since that is the last Tuesday before the Fall Youth Rally mentioned below. You can still register to go for $12.50 but we are past the free t-shirt deadline.

Permession Slips
Permission Slips for the CBA Fall Youth Rally in Elizabeth City, NC are due NLT October 28, 2008 we also need your $12.50 at that time. This will also be our yearly Lock In so make sure you get your stuff in on time!!!
